Well that failed!

Sorry...  My days in Brugge were so packed full I didn't have time to update the blog.... Sorry.

I visited Rodenbach, De Dolle and Westmallen breweries, had a 3-course meal that came with a different beer with each course and visited t'Brugs Berjite (or Bertie's) which translates as The Brugge Bear a bar with a beer menu of over 300!  In there I got talking to a couple who, by compete coincidence were from about 2 miles down the road from me in Peterborough!

Dinner at 

The trips to a very small (De Dolle) and a very large (Rodenbach) brewery were very interesting. And the meal as Westmalle was also very nice.

I also had a day at the Tyncot war memorial and the city of Ypres, where I visited the Menin Gate, as well as a couple of pubs! 

Brugges Day 1 10:30 BST

Arrived Maidstone services.  Found Cotton Traders shop and bought 3 new shirts!  :-)

Departed 10:50 in hopes of getting an early ferry.

Bruges Day 1 08:05BST

Arrived at Tesco Ipswich, 08:05. Half hour rest stop, grabbed a breakfasr bar.  Resumed journey 8:40

Bruges Day 1 07:00BST

Caught bus from John Lewis stop.

Was given information pack for the trip once onboard.

Interesting notice in the taxi.  

"No smoking, eating or trafficking people in this taxi" 

!!!

Bruges Day 0 16:35

On the train to Norwich.  Bus leaves at 7am!  Will check into Travelodge then go into Norwich for dinner.  Maybe meet Cheryl and others for a drink later.
